Niq James has been a leading light in Christchurch’s hairdressing community for two decades now. The qualified hairdresser and master barber is artistic director of one of the city’s top salons, Headspace, and Dapper Barber and Style Lounge.

Dapper Barber and Style Lounge was born out of a passion Niq has for men’s grooming and fashion. His love of international travel highlighted for him a need for a space in the local fashion scene where men could relax in luxury surroundings and be assured that they would receive fashion grooming and styling advice that could hold its own on the global style scene.
